XIV International Folklore Festival of Passo Fundo - Brazil, from 17th to 25th August, 2018.

Every two years, in the southernmost Brazilian state, Rio Grande do Sul, the City of Passo Fundo and CIOFF organize a festival, in order to disseminate cultures around the world, hoping to promote peace among the people. It is one of the biggest folk festivals in the Americas and was personally distinguished by the President of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts - CIOFF, certificating it as a “CIOFF Festival”.

The festival involves students and the whole community. The main activities are:
• During the morning and afternoon, the stage performances are for students, in order to contribute with the teachers work of teaching many aspects of the country and the region of the participating groups, improving cultural exchange;
• During the evening, the stage performances are for the community in general;
• There will also be workshops, street parades, a folk religious mass and performances in historical places, malls, etc.
