Rancho Regional de Fânzeres

The Rancho Regional de Fânzeres was founded on 25 March 1979 by a group of people who wanted to keep the customs of their ancestors alive.
Their costumes, dances and songs were taken from the way the old people of the parish danced, sang and dressed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In 2024 it celebrated its 45th anniversary.
This traditional Portuguese dance group is effective member of the Portuguese Folklore Federation.
The group is the organiser of Mund'Art Animation & Culture - International Festival of Music and Traditional Dances, held every year in Gondomar, in the city of Porto, Portugal.
As well as taking its culture all over Portugal, Rancho Regional de Fânzeres has performed abroad in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Holland and the Canary Islands.
