ZKUD BRAND PETRUSEV

Dancing and singing have been present in these areas since the ancient times until today. The beginning of an organized folklore dates fromthe middle of the nineteenth century when the first so called rusaliski tajfi were formed, but because of the world folklore festivals. The activity continued after the Second World War, but because of different political cause, the association crumbled and was renewed many times. In the middle of the seventies stylized choreographies have been staged and they are danced also in the present days. From then till now two hundred and fifty members were parts of this society and attended the national folklore. For all this period this society has taken part in many regional Republic, associate and international festivals, parades, reviews and similar manifestations where people dance and sing.
K.U.D Brand Petrushev Bogdanci, was first established within the House of Culture Brand Petrushev of 24.02.1988 year. From 04.02.2003 year was registered as an independent entity because of the inability of the House of Culture to meet the ambition of the company. The first performance of the company on 25.05.1988 year. During the 25 years of existence has seen about 170 more performances of which approximately 60 are international scene, including all former Yugoslav republics, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Holland, Belgium and France. K.U.D Brand Petrushev has established a long cooperation with K.U.D Elizabeth from Varazdin - Croatia, K.U.D Mitanche from Belegish, Stara Pazova - Republic of Serbia, and from this year and the Folklore Section Trentino from Shtivor, Prnjavor - Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. From all appearances returns with prizes and appreciation certificates and successfully and worthily represents the Macedonian culture through games and song. The 03.11.2010g. K.U.D Brand Petrushev had a parent meeting to select a new President, Saso Ivanovski, and new members of the Executive Board and Supervisory Board. On the same date K.U.D. Brand Petrushev be renamed Z.K.U.D Brand Petrushev. With support and iteres citizens of s.Stojakovo last year formed the Folk section s.Stojakovo with 50 new members and run as part of Z.K.D.U Brand Petrushev .. Members of Brand Petrushev the group oasis of Bogdanci this year Goce Fest won the award for best stage performance. Company works successfully. On 24.02.2013, the Z.K.U.D Brand Petrushev will mark the 25th anniversary of its existence.
