SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF THE EDUCATIONAL FOLKLORE ASSOCIATION SEVEN EIGHTS - GJORCHE PETROV,SKOPJE, NORT MACEDONIA


EFZ Seven Eights - Đ.P., Skopje is an educational folklore association, founded on 19.08.2015. It has been active since the beginning and for the past ten years it
has been successful and
It conveys a love of folklore to the youngest population.
For this 10 years of existence, it has participated in projects, festivals and events in and
out of state. He also performs solo concerts every year, and since 2022 he has been an organizer
of the Manifestation From Bistra through Derven to Henrievo of which the EFZ Seven Eights is special proud. As of 2023, he is a member of SOFAM CIOFF Macedonia.
Of the more important events of the last five years, we would distinguish:

- Manifestation Sounds of Culture organized by the Municipality of Gy. Petrov (2022 and 2023)
- Folk costume show organized by ANIP Gjorche Petrov (2021)
- Participation in the Humanitarian Folklore Concert of the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia (2022)
- Promotion of the almanac Heroes of Macedonia, on the occasion of October 23, organized by the Association for Humanism and Culture Phoenix, Skopje (25.10.2023)
- Participation in the seventh folklore camp Necklace of pearls, Ohrid (03.-08.08.2024)
- Participation in Macedonian roots not to be forgotten, solo concert of Leni Partykova on the occasion of the 20th anniversary (03.11.2024),
- Participation in Children's and regional folklore reviews - Skopje region, ( 2023 and 2024)
From the International Festivals we distinguish:
- 2022: Festival days in Greece, Paralia (22-26.06.2022), Maria Tanase, Craiova and The autumn festival, Krcea, Republic of Romania (28 and 29.10.2022)
- 2023: Spring Flower, Ohrid ( 05-07.05.2023), From flower to flower with oro and song, Skopje (10.06.2023), Budva dancing 2023 (23-26.06.2023)
- 2024: 46th International Folklore Festival of the Child, Ankara Turkey (18-23.04.2024), Sarimsakli trophy 2024, Sarimsakli, Turkey (28.06-03.07.2024) and Golden Embroidery, Skopje (28.09.2024)
- 2025: XlV International Festival of Folklore in Lloret de Mar , Spain (24 – 28.06.2025)
