KUD ŠUMARI

KUD's Šumari was founded in 1952 by marking 73 years of prolific and devoted work in research, collection, artwork of dance choreography, 73 years of playing tambourines and singing folk songs collected in the boundless richness of Croatian folklore tradition. The repertoire of the ensemble includes choreographies from all parts of Croatia, as well as their own vocal and instrumental numbers. During 73 years we have visited great number of international folklor festivals in Europe, Canada and Mexico. KUD Šumari is regular member of COIFF Croatia.
Our organization count over 150 active members in sveral groups. We own traditional costimes from all parts of Croatia and we play music live.
