The Center for Traditional Culture Varaždin (CTK Varaždin) is a non-profit organization founded in 1946, dedicated to preserving and promoting Croatia’s rich cultural heritage. Throughout its history, CTK Varaždin has been a key institution in fostering traditional music, dance, and artistic expression, actively engaging children, youth, and the wider community.

CTK Varaždin has successfully implemented numerous national and international projects. These projects focus on the restoration and acquisition of traditional instruments and costumes, international performances, educational initiatives, and the publication of musical scores.

A flagship initiative of CTK Varaždin is FolkoFonija, an international festival of traditional culture, which brings together ensembles from across the world to celebrate folklore and heritage. The organization also actively participates in European-funded programs, including cultural digitalization efforts and social inclusion projects.

With a long tradition of excellence, CTK Varaždin continues to promote national identity through performances, education, and international collaborations. CTK Varaždin’s repertoire is suited for national and international festivals, cultural events, and special performances, bringing the essence of Croatian heritage to audiences worldwide. Whether through lively dance performances, intricate musical compositions, or a combination of both, the ensemble offers an immersive experience of Croatia’s rich cultural traditions.
