Ziemia Żywiecka is a renowned folk ensemble from Żywiec, a historic town in the Żywiecczyzna region of southern Poland. Founded in 1971, the group celebrates the vibrant traditions of the Żywiec Highlanders and Żywiec townsfolk through authentic and artistically interpreted dances, songs, and customs. With performances across Poland and in over 20 countries worldwide, the ensemble has gained acclaim as an ambassador of Polish culture. Among its many accolades are the Złota Ciupaga and Srebrna Ciupaga at the International Festival of Mountain Regions in Zakopane, Złote i Srebrne Serca at the Festival of Polish Highlanders in Żywiec, and the prestigious Oskar Kolberg Award in 1993.

The group unites performers of all ages who dedicate their passion and energy to preserving traditions. Known for dynamic dances like hajduk and krakowiak, as well as the richness of their regional costumes, Ziemia Żywiecka continues to enchant audiences, sharing the beauty of Polish folklore with the world.
