The Festival of Folk Arts is the largest folk art festival in the Carpathian Basin, where hundreds of craftsmen present their traditional folk crafts in an interactive way. Through visual workshops, they involve the audience in the creative process, set in the historic surroundings of Buda Castle. Nearly a thousand craftsmen and hundreds of performers, along with all-day stage programs, folk playhouses, fashion shows, gastronomy, exhibitions, and dance houses, await visitors. The festival is held every year around August 20.
