High-profile international dance ensembles showcase their culture and traditions through dance and music for a week-long audience of 20,000 during Hello!Schoten. We are one of the oldest folklore festivals in Europe. In 1959, members of a folklore group and the local tourist office founded the World Festival of Folklore in Schoten. Its goal was, and remains, to promote and connect folk arts and cultures by presenting them to a wide audience in an artistic setting.
