Every year during the last weekend of July, our free harvest festival, called “de Pikkeling”, takes place in the Faluintjes (near Aalst, Belgium). It pays tribute to the joy of the harvest and it offers a wide range of activities and attractions and folk harvest traditions that are still cherished today. De Pikkeling is a large folk festival where young and old, traditionalists and progressives alike can find something to their liking: their love of nature and respect for the past.
