The Festival began in 1988 and takes place in various cities within an important cultural region of our country, comprising the provinces of Córdoba, Entre Ríos, and Santa Fe. This Encounter of World Cultures includes, in addition to artistic performances in theaters, other activities such as: • Educational performances for schoolchildren
• Music and dance workshops for teachers
• Exhibitions of crafts and international folk culture
• Exhibition “Museum of Universal Traditional Costume”
• Family Day of Fellowship
• Liturgical Ceremony for Peace.
All of these activities embody the recommendations of the “Recommendations and Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage” issued by UNESCO.
