FESTIVALS
What is a CIOFF® Festival?
A CIOFF® Festival is one of the means of safeguarding, promoting, and disseminating traditional culture, mainly through genres of expression such as music, dance, games, rituals, customs, handicraft skills, and other arts. To make a significant contribution to the maintenance and enhancement of cultural identity and diversity, a folk art festival must be implemented in an appropriate cultural context.
