International Novohrad Folklore Festival
The aim of the International Novohrad Folklore Festival is to revive folk traditions of regional culture as well as to mediate an authentic experience of various forms of folklore from abroad. The festival operates under the CIOFF® Recognized status (organisation of UNESCO). Festival will be held in the city of Lučenec and the surrounding villages of the historical territory of the Novohrad region in Slovakia, and with the border crossing into the territory of Hungary.
