ABOUT US

The Spanish Section of CIOFF was founded in 1982 inder te name: Spanish Association of Folklore Festival Organizers (CIOFF-Spain) and was authorized by the Ministry of the Interior through Resolution 5.424 dated December 10, 1982. CIOFF-Spain has its own statutes and organizational structure, and its objectives--aligned with the message of CIOFF® Internacional, they are focused on promoting friendship and mutual understanding among participants in folklore festivals, as well as promoting research and study of traditions, encouraging appreciation and interest in the values of popular culture.
