During the 18th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage, held in Botswana in early December, the Forum of NGOs accredited to this Committee presented the latest edition of the Living Heritage Series book, prepared by the #HeritageAlive working group and ICHCAP.
This edition focused on storytelling as a way to safeguard ICH, and CIOFF® participated with an article from CIOFF® Argentina as part of its project “Stories behind familiar objects” that they developed during the pandemic.
The Living Heritage Series has been published four times and CIOFF® has been part of it since the first edition, so we have been members of the editorial board since 2022. Thanks and congratulations to the team behind the project and the writing of the article, for their work #ForLivingTraditions
