ARHAVI MUNICIPALITY INTERNATIONAL CULTURE AND ART FESTIVAL
The Arhavi Culture and Arts Festival was first proposed in 1973 by Erol Ertuğrul, the then-Arhavi District Governor. With the contributions of Mayor Kazım Kurtoğlu and a committee established in accordance with the District Tourism Law, the event, which took place between July 1 and 3, 1973, focused primarily on music, folklore, sports, and artistic activities.
