The "La Esteva" International Folk Festival is a benchmark festival and a highly anticipated event every year in the city of Segovia when the month of July begins, always the second weekend of that month. It began in 1988 and has only been suspended during the year of the pandemic. Each edition features international folk groups (a maximum of 5), a national group, a group from the autonomous community, and a group representing the province, along with the host group.
