International Folklore Festival of Extremadura
The International Folklore Festival of Extremadura was established in 1980 and has been held annually ever since. This highly popular event is a true showcase of world culture, music, dance, and tradition. From its inception, it has been organized by Coros y Danzas de Badajoz, with sponsorship from various institutions, as well as support from CIOFF®-Spain and several local businesses and municipalities in the region.
