International Folklore Festival Mining light
The joint project of folklore ensembles from Croatia (Folklore group Oštrc, Rude) and Slovenia (Folklore group Svoboda, Senovo). After 20 years of cultural cooperation and lifting the border controls in 2023, we got opportunity of having performances in 2 countries at one festival in 2024, with performing folklore groups from 5 countries each year. Less than 50 km separates both places with a rich mining tradition that connected them through joint projects of restoring the underground heritage.
