Jánošík Days, International Folklore Festival

Jánošík Days is an International Folklore Festival (CIOFF) in Terchová established in 1963. One of the largest in Slovakia, it is dedicated to both international and domestic traditional art. It focuses on the UNESCO-listed Music of Terchová and the Jánošík tradition inscribed on the Slovak national list. Main attractions include a horse wagon procession, evening gala programs at the amphitheater, a Holy Mass for tradition bearers, chamber programs, exhibitions, creative workshops, and more.
