The organizer of the event is the citizens’ association “ERA” from Užice. Since 2009, the festival has gathered 15,000 children from 45 countries, with around 1000 participants each year. Its goal is to preserve and promote cultural heritage, foster friendship, and connect young people from different nations. The festival is supported by the City of Užice and relevant ministries. The program takes place in Užice, Zlatibor, and Višegrad, featuring concerts, parades, workshops, exhibitions, the humanitarian action “Licider Heart for Children,” and visits to cultural sites. About 60 young volunteers help with organization, and “ERA” has received several awards for its work.
