Interetno festival

For 25 years, Interetno has been a venue for great encounters, with its strongest appeal rooted in the sense of community. Culture, tradition, and cultural values – these three concepts define one of the region’s notable heritage-focused events. The steadily developing festival has, from the very beginning, conveyed the importance of folklore and folk art with dedication and at a high artistic level, featuring dance ensembles and musical groups presenting authentic folk music and dance with outstanding professionalism. Although the festival began as a one-day event, over the years it has grown into a fully fledged arts festival that brings together multiple art forms. As an all-arts festival, it showcases not only music, dance, and theatre, but also traditional craft heritage as an integral part of the event.
