The Baja California October Festival was born as an initiative of the State Secretariat of Culture (SECUT) to be a cultural movement that unites the community through art, seeking to sow life and peace, and is celebrated annually throughout the month of October (and sometimes a little longer), offering free activities of dance, theater, music, literature and circus in all the municipalities, promoting diversity and the building of cultural bridges with a focus on "Territories of Peace" in recent editions.
