Nuoro hosts a grand celebration of colors and folk traditions. Piazza Satta, in particular, is the evocative setting for the performances of the International Folklore Festival, the eagerly awaited event organized, as always, by the "Amici del Folklore" cultural association. This event, part of the "Awaiting the Redeemer Festival" calendar, draws crowds of enthusiasts and tourists eager to witness a cross-border exchange. Six groups, two Sardinian and four international, participate in the festival.
