The "Rassegna di Momenti di Folklore Internazionale" is currently held in the Provinceof Agrigento from August 24th to August 30th. It is organized by the "AssociazioneCulturale Progetti d'Immagine di Agrigento".It is a Festival of Folklore which involves many inland towns in the province ofAgrigento.It is held in the open-air in order to involve the whole population as active and notpassive participants during the Festival.During the same period of the "Rassegna di Momenti di Folklore Internazionale" another important event is held, the "Convegno sulla Salvaguardiadella Cultura Tradizionale e Popolare" which is attended by experts of art and culture,scholars and anthropologists.
