CIOFF KYPARISSIA SUNSHINE INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL - MESK

The CIOFF® Kyparissia Sunshine Festival has become an integral part of the cultural history of our town, Kyparissia, and our Municipality, in the south western part of Greece. Every year, (except 2025), our guests from the five continents display their own style and present part of their tradition and civilization to us. At the same time, they have the opportunity to feel and see close up our own style, our culture,our everyday life, our habits, our hospitality and our manner of dealing with things and promoting culture through the performances as well as through parallel cultural events with the title :" Feeling our cultural heritage", concerning Mediterranean diet, local cuisine & costumes, instruments, traditional arts, traditional games,customs,history,environment,exhibitions, visits to museums & archaeological sites, (ancient Olympia & Peristeria -Mycenaean tombs) , workshops exhibitions, conferences etc.Kyparissia Sunshine Festival is one of the most significant cultural events in our town, in our Municipality for 17 consecutive years now (except the years of Pandemic ) and it is organized by the Educational &cultural Society of Kyparissia , MESK, & the Municipality of Trifylia.
