Festival of Carnival Traditions – Fašank in Strání
The Festival of Carnival Traditions – Fašank in Strání (Czech Republic) showcases vivid masopust customs, traditional masks, music and dances from the Moravian-Slovak border region. Held every February, the event features parades, crafts and the famous sword dance “Pod šable,” celebrating one of the country’s richest winter folk traditions.
