Kristina Medarić

Kristina Medarić has university degree in Economics with extensive experience in the banking sector and long-standing work with small and medium-sized enterprises. She is currently the Deputy Director of the Regional Center for SME clients at largest state bank HPB JSC, where she has previously led Entrepreneurial Centers as well as corporate and business banking teams.

In addition to her professional career, she has been actively involved in folklore amateurism, international cultural cooperation, and the preservation of intangible heritage for more than 30 years. She serves as President of the Folklore Ensemble “Matija Gubec”, Vice-President for administrative affairs in CIOFF® International and International Folk Festival in Karlovac and as Board member of Croatian section of CIOFF® International. She has extensive experience in ensemble leadership, international correspondence, festival organization, cultural programming, and international tours, and is a recipient of several awards for her cultural and artistic work.

She combines strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills with deep dedication to preserving tradition and fostering international cultural cooperation.
