Arc-en-Ciel d'Evolène

Wearing one fo the most famous costumes of Switzerland, Arc-en-Ciel is a young, energetic and cheerful team. Performing with 16 to 40 people on stage, the group has no less than 5 scenic programs. Telling the stories of the Carnival of the village, the wedding traditions, the hard work in the fields, Arc-en-Ciel offers to travel into a typical Swiss region on the soft sound of accordion. Singing traditional songs and wearing the different variations of their costume with pride, the group is looking for friendly, festive experiences around the world. Founder and owner of the CIME festival, the group knows how to answer to high artistic level conditions. The association includes a large group of Children, with over 40 kids wearing their adorable clothing and performing authentic dances.

  Céline Rumpf

  Studying language sciences, Céline is a young, smart woman, dancing in the group since she was a child. To her, Arc-en-Ciel is a family story, and she puts her energy for the association to keep growing and keep its young and fresh spirit, while safeguarding the beauty and authenticity of the traditional clothing.

  Eric Vuignier

  Artistic director since 30 years, Eric has brought the group from a pure authentic style to an elaborate level. Founder of the festival CIME, he plays a crucial role in maintaining the artistic level of the group, teaching to both the new recruits and the active member the dances he mostly choreographed himself for Arc-en-Ciel.

  Mélanie Bracci

  Mélanie acts as the leader in the orchestra, with a majority of accordion players. She plays the accordion herself, and bring her youth and her sense of organisation to the whole group, organising musical rehearsals and helping on the coordination between the singers and the musicians.
