INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ FOLKLORE FESTIVAL
NIŠ - SERBIA



International Students’ Folklore Festival takes place every year in Niš in midst of July
(16-21st of July). Organizer and founder of the Festival is Students’ Cultural Center Niš and its Folklore Ensemble ORO.
Festival is under patronage of Ministry of Education of Republic of Serbia, City of Niš and City Municipalities.
Our intention is to introduce folklore traditions and diverse national cultures to citizens of Niš and southeast Serbia through Festival, and to present our large cultural heritage as well.
Festival is organized according to Regulations of CIOFF. Every year, 5-7 students’ ensembles from different countries take part.
Maximum number of participants (including orchestra and drivers) is 35 persons.
Transportation costs outside Serbia are to be submitted by participating ensemble. Costs of transportation within Serbia, accommodation and meals are to be submitted by organizer.
Ensembles are due to perform with live music (orchestra).
Accommodation will be in two-bed rooms in Students’ dormitories in Niš.
Application deadline is 30th of April ___. Together with Application Form, applicants must enclose CV of ensemble, DVD, and at least two photos in optimal resolution which are to be used for propaganda material of the Festival.
Applicants will be noticed about their applications until 10th of May ____.
