  • Since more than 15 years, CIOFF organizes during its annual World Congress a scientific conference on topics related to its field of activities. Several issues have already been discussed: "Folk dance on stage", "Folklore and tourism: interactions", "Festival: crossroads of cultures", ...   • CIOFF Conferences can be organized on different levels:

    INTERNATIONAL: during the World Congress or in collaboration with other international organizations;

    REGIONAL : during Sectors meetings or in collaboration with several National Sections belonging to the same Sector;

    NATIONAL : during the General Assembly of a National Section, during a folklore festival, or in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture or other national organizations.

  • Any person organizing a conference related to CIOFF field of activities can get CIOFF assistance to be listed (please fill the form).

  • After recording the information from the form, the Cultural Commission will coordinate the different conferences and will published the list in the chapter events/conferences.
