CIOFF Activities
Article 1
CIOFF promotes activities related to folklore by:
Folkloriadas;/P>
World congresses;
international conferences and exhibitions.
educational programmes on folklore for children;
ethics to guide folk groups and folklore festivals in performances of folklore.
- supporting and giving official recognition to
festivals, folk groups interactions, workshops and training programmes, scientific conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
publications and other materials on folklore;
an international network for research and documentation.
a network for diffusion and information concerning folklore.
grants;
logistic support.
Article 2
Financial ressources CIOFF activities and grants for folklore are financed with:
a) CIOFF regular budget
b) the international fund for folklore.
Organization
General Assembly
The duties of CIOFF General Assembly are as follows:
- adopt the annual programme to implement CIOFF cultural policy;
- indicate the organizational and operational principles to the Cultural Commission;
- determinate terms and conditions of grants allocation.
Implementation
This recommendation was adopted in Thessaloniki General Assembly in 1997.
